Common-Mode Voltage Mitigation of Dual Three-Phase Voltage Source Inverters in a Motor Drive Application

چکیده

Electric variable speed drives (VSDs) based on two VSDs connected to a multiphase machine are an attractive solution replace high-power mechanic and hydraulic systems in many sectors of industry transportation because they present high performance with reduced cost, volume weight. Among the causes which affect reliability dual VSDs, common-mode current flowing through bearing is important issue. This paper faces mitigation by reducing voltage (CMV) generated operation VSD. The CMV reduction carried out without introducing any extra device and/or passive filtering method. performed applying specific phase-displacement between modulation strategies each single inverter drive. proposed technique has been evaluated down scaled experimental setup order test its effectiveness.
